Haven't been for about four years so as it was a (warmish) sunny day we went over to Brownsea via Studland, hopefully to see some Red Squirrels and birds, which we did.

Ziggy, the (foot) ferry from Studland to Sandbanks is free going and £1return. You can park free in the NT car park there. Ferry to Brownsea is £5.75 return, last one back 5.00pm
      Just for you Sheal.

Thanks Strongy, they are such lively birds and I like their call as well. :) I went down to my local beach a few weeks back with my camera just to take shots of the Oystercatchers and typically there wasn't one in sight!

When I lived in Poole we used to sail round the harbour and land on the island for free! Happy days.:)
