Can anyone tell me how do you compost the thick stems of brussel sprouts.
Do you cut them up very small and add to compost heap or would it be best to burn them and add the ash to the compo.
    Helpppppp.

Don't burn them - thrown them on the heap, no need to chop up, they will soon break down at this time of year when you start adding fresh grass clippings and the heap heats up.

I prefer to play rather than watch. I'm a fair weather Hull City supporter, but I've only been once or twice in recent years :)

Well they did well last night, but they will drop straight back if they don't win one or two more matches in their first year at the top level. Not sure who the palace are ... :hehe:

You could crush them up a bit first if you want it to break down quicker. Just smack with a spade or roll a weight over them
