Brussell Sprouts

    Am I too late to grow these from seed?

    Yup ... sorry!

    Your local Garden Centre might have some plants available, but TBH I doubt it.

    Yes golcarlilly I would say it is now too late, even for the plants to mature for a picking in late winter.
    For the earliest crop I sow in a cold frame in February and for the latest crop I sow in the open in late April.
    It is always good to learn by trial and error so if you already have seed sow a few now and see how it goes; save the remainder to sow next year.

    oh well, at least the brass band wont be playing and the house wont smell!! :D

    I love brussel sprouts! They are a must for xmas even if you have to buy them.

    I agree! My mum eats them cold - YUK!!
