I have tried ,unsuccesfully, to put Bubblewrap up in my greenhouse. The problem is there are only two middle and two end glazing uprights with grooves for ali plugs so I can't put it up with plugs anywhere else, I tried some tape in desperation but as soon as there was any moisture it peeled off.
I could hang it somehow but that would leave gaps and reduce the insulating effect.
    Any ideas?

I know what you are saying & I clip mine to the frame with plastic bulldog clips & plastic clothes pegs Strongy.. It is surprising where you can get them to hold on.. My greenhouse is all sealed cosy cosy now.. :WINK1: :sunny:

I watched gardeners world a few weeks ago, Monty Don was bubble wrapping his greenhouse, he said use good quality parcel tape as the cheap stuff doesn't stick. Not accusing you of being a cheapskate Strongy!

If you have a normal aluminium greenhouse Strongy, then all you need are the glazing bars.:dbgrtmb:

Marley's idea was the solution I was blind to see
I was down to making a bamboo frame and tent the bubble wrap, but bull dog clips simples

I drove round for 6 months with my wing mirror held on with cheap parcel tape!

          Unhelpful Suggestion:
Buy a wooden greenhouse, then you can use a staple gun to bang the stuff in place.

I haven't bothered putting much bubblewrap on this year. Half of last year's is still on and the frost last year took no notice of it anyway. And it's been so mild! Winter's half over - I hope.

Could you try using rods (like bamboo canes cut to fit) to hold lengths of bubble wrap in place, a bit like those sprung pop-in rods for net curtains? In fact you could buy those rods fairly cheaply and keep them year to year. You could have a couple across the top acting as a ridge pole to a tent of bubble wrap and a couple more at the eaves holding the sides in place. Probably works best if your greenhouse is small.

          bubblewrap

Had a similar problem in my 20foot conservatory and overcame the problem by drilling some small holes in the alloy supports and tying the bubblewrap with fine wire.

Thanks for all the suggestions:dbgrtmb:. I shall try some in turn and see what works. It's a 8x6 Marley Greenhouse, must be about 30 years old and the the sides have 5ft panes.
I intend getting a 10x8 next year but I need this one heated and cosy this winter for my collection which I have to bring home from work in a few weeks when I finish work.:yess:
