Buddleja globosa in a pot?

Hello all,

Brand new member and gardener here. I'm just starting out creating a wildlife-friendly container garden and wondered, can buddleja globosa be grown in a large container to achieve a smaller bush? Thanks for your help!

 

I have a buddleia in a large container and its fine. I prune it quite hard so that it stays smaller :-)
