Here are some other pictures I promised

    What you looking at?

This unfortunate snake was a fresh kill and judging by the puncture wounds on its underside it looked as if it had been dropped from the talons of a large bird.

Wouldn`t like these on my plants, check out the ant hitching a ride on the back of the left handside beetle.

    That was tasty.

How big is that soldier ant?!!!!!

Think this bug was eating the red spiders.

    Not you lot again

Great photos Pip, trying to ID the snake but without a head close up it's hard, looks like a Smooth or Southern Smooth snake but not sure. [IMG]

Hey, pip, I missed these somehow yesterday, sorry.

Absolutely fab! I love creeping critters but know nothing about them, just learning. What brilliant photography! [IMG] [IMG]

This month's English magazine here has an article devoted to snakes from here (all not poisonous) with photos. Maybe I can coerce t'other half to scan it as the scanner is linked to his computer and send them to you because surely we must be similar ... sort of ?????

Yours looks like the ones I have in the garden (even in the house, but only babies) from time to time.
