    Hi

I purchased 4 individual allium gladiator bulbs from Wilkinsons last year and planted them out.

Ive had them under cloches for the past couple of weeks and they have really started to come on, my concern is that these are not Alliums as stated on the box. They look different in shape and colour (the ones pictured on the packaging were purple)

Can anyone confirm this and if possible what the plants I have are?

They look like Hyacinths to me and very nice ones at that! They may well have a scent...maybe have a sniff!

Noooooooo!!!!! Never a "shame" :nonofinger: A "surprise", perhaps ;)

Maybe not what you were hoping for, admittedly, but, hyacinths give a cheery smile to the world when others do not and they have a delicious perfume, where others do not!h

Yours look delightfully well grown - some of mine are showing signs of slug damage already :gaah:
