I have a hydrangea in a tub of ericaceous compost. It's still going strong at the moment, but I'd like to plant something for interest once it's dyed back. What might thrive in the acid soil?
    Thanks :)

Anything that grows in woodland conditions, basically Daisy. Bluebells, polyanthus, cyclamen and narcissus spring to mind.

I can't think of any of the common bulbs that won't do well in lime free compost!
