bulbs quick

    daffs and tulips. is now the right time to plant them in pots? If so is normal compost ok and lastly where do I put em? ie just position them in the garden and wait for spring.
    Can you all response quickly plz only I am getting compost all over the bed :)
    Ta muchley (opps I mean the sleepy bed not the plant bed if you get my drift )
    Must remember to move this lappy

    Yeah, just chuck em in ya daftie. About twice their height in depth.

    When you're done you can come and do mine. I've 300 to do. A splash of early spring colour seemed like a good idea at the time.

    Oooohhhhhhhhhhhh ssssssshhhhoooooga, that reminds me, i bought a load of bulbs a couple of weeks ago, shoved em in a cupboard and forgot about them til now!! thanks for this thread :D:D:D

    how often do u water them if they are in pots

    They`ll be out there all winter-it rains alot, and it gets really cold so I personally would only water them if it`s not rained for a week or so. I put mine in the ground and leave them there so I don`t know exactly

    can I stick something on top of them like winter pansies or do I have to look at bare compost till next year :)

    Yeah course you can-listen darlink, do you just want me to come round and sort it? LOL

    Just know that the bulbs will send loads of leaves up long before they will flower so try not to have whatever you plant getting obscured by them.

    PS I was only joking about coming round-I know you lady jane!
