    Only me Again
I want to do some containers with daffs and tulips for next year but can I plant them at different times in the same container to lengthen the flowering time? Also do I just use regular compost and finally how often do I water them and do I need to feed them at any point?

    Hi Nut
I have a layered planter with tulips on the bottom layer and crocuss ( crocii ?) on the top layer. The crocus flower first ,then as they die down up come the tulips - it works really well - on its third year now. The main thing to watch out for with bulbs is you must plant them at the correct depth - so read the packet labels when you buy them for flowering time and planting depth.:)

Well you plant october november and water and feed as usual - as they are out all winter they tend not to need watering. They are a low maintenance planter - its really nice in late feb watching the Crocus come out - very spring on the way plant:o

And the good news is that you get some of those tulips free with each order (not sure about the minimum spend but I suspect that won`t be a problem I will have this yr).
