Cotoneaster bullatus....I was given this today and read it has a weeping open habit and can grow to 4 metres!....I have a large garden but wondered if I have got a potential monster and could it be pruned to form a more compact form.
At present it is 1 metre with 3 equal size leaders.

Yes - I had some in Hemel - it made an excellent hedge, and had tons of berries. Only prob I had was the aphids that came to it attracted lots of wasps and hoverflies. Ladybirds too, tho :D We kept it by cutting with hedge-cutters whenever it got straggly - but you'd really need to keep on top of it. Lovely berries, and I like the graining on the leaves. :D
