Bumblebee Identification!

Hi,

I saw the bumblebee on the attached photo in my garden at the weekend. It's much more yellow than any other I have seen and wondered if anybody knows what it is? I think it's a male early bumblebee. I've never seen one in my garden before so would be grateful if anybody can confirm its identity!

I reckon its a common carder bee. Check on the Bumble Bee Conservation trust as they have a ID page that I find really helpful.
