Took Mrs Scrungee for a post birthday treat to John Lewis at MK for a free cake and drink using vouchers in their cafe, then downstairs to spend her birthday money on a 50% off Barbour jacket.

As we just happened to pass Bunnings (previously Homebase) on the way home :biggrin:I popped inside to get some more cheap coal and check for any bargains.

    Found these:

Sovereign petrol lawnmowers reduced to only £50, they probably had nearly 40 in store

    Bulbs reduced to 98p/pack

145L storage boxes with lids for £12.98

    Hawk decoys for £2

Some of their MPC is also cheap

And the smokeless fuel I occasionally use in our stove is £3.44 at Bunnings and £5 at Homebase :rolleyespink: (and is cheaper than the local coal merchant, even if buying a tonne of the stuff).

The lawnmowers look good. It’s almost worth the drive to go and get one. I wouldn’t wanted to have to take it back though. Hopefully something similar will come up locally.

I know someone who moved to Milton Keynes. It’s a shame I don’t know them well enough to get one for me and bring it next time they visit family.

If you're after a £50 mower, they were in a few locations, by the entrance doors, along the left hand side after going in and a few more with the other mowers.

Reduced bulbs by doors to outside garden centre. (I got 244 dwarf tulips, dwarf daffs and mini daffs for £9.88, 4p/bulb).
