The lambs are so cute! Second picture.........what happened to 306?

 

He was just too quick for the camera.

Went up behind one & scratched its ears & chin for a few minutes, it was loving it. Wasn't till it opened its eyes & realised I wasn't mum that it started bleating at me.

 

Those are great pictures Ziggy, and the little lambs are just too adorable.

Whats the story with the ruins? Cuz you know I'm going to ask

The church was never finished, they ran out of money. There probably was some sort of defensive building there before, as Athelney Abbey was just up the road, with all those King Alfred legends. the pub in the village is called the King Alfred.

legend has it that my old boss, Ian Constantinides (Google him) stood naked on the top whilst directing a stone being lowered from a helecopter during some conservation works. Don't know if thats true, but it certainly could be, knowing him.

 

Ziggy probably had No. 306 for dinner. That's why he'd vanished.

 

306 is fine, ziggy only eats fish, not land animals

One of the Ewes had its face bitten off by a dog though

 

Where've all the sheep gone?

Nice to see the sheep has buckets and bags of minerals to go for if they need it
I bet now all the minerals have been washed out the ground now

 

Bet there's been goings-on up there time out of mind, millennia before they built the church. It's just got that look about it.
