I have an odd situation to do with my back garden and a public footbridge.

What I need is a very wide bush or tree it only has to grow 6 foot high (or be trimmed) but I do want one that will grow wide or sideways, and also I cant seem to find anywhere that sells weeping willows which I also want

    any ideas please?
    cheers Nelly

Weeping willows have deep aggressive roots that can tangle in with underground piping. I will try to look up some trees for you, later.

This is a wonderful very hardy shrub. Can be pruned easily but I recommend pruning in very early spring. This will allow the very tiny but amazingly fragrant flowers to appear in autumn. The scent is just everywhere. The leaves are a lovely silvery colour. Prunning will produce a lovely dense bush. Perfect for what you want I think. It also makes a very good hedge:)
