It's been a while since I've posted much. I haven't had a lot of time for anything for a while. My garden has taken a back seat and been quite neglected this year.
So, what have I been doing?
Learning to drive a bus!!! I passed my test last Wed!!!! It's been fun and nerve wracking and exhausting all at the same time. After having been unemployed and skint for 7 months I have a new career, a new set of skills, and some new found confidence. Things are looking up!!!

      Well done,
Watch for the low bridges with the double deckers, about a week ago some one hit a low bridge on the school run near us

Congrats Catztail, and welcome to the world of professional drivers :) Driving buses is one of those jobs that seems to get into the bloodstream, and assuming you take to it you will continue to do it quite happily year after year.

It can be a very rewarding job too, and quite regularly you will get that wee warm feeling inside when you know you have made someone's day just by waiting that extra few seconds at a bus stop or giving a party of passengers a good day out.

Hope you have a long and happy career :)

              Thanks everyone!
My sister did the Catbus pic for me which I found hilarious.
I've really enjoyed the training bit and found it fun heaving a 15 ton bus around the roads. Backing up and squeezing through narrow spaces is easier than I thought it would be too. I start carrying passengers on Tue I think under the supervision of a mentor and in 2 or 3 weeks I will be on my own and on my designated route.* big stoopid cheesy grin*
