Butyl rubber

    Simple question, what kind of glue does one use to glue together butyl rubber pond lining?

    Simple answer! A special mastic.

    You might find it in an aquatics department of a larger garden centre or, alternatively, you can buy it online - both 'Waterways Pet & Acquatics' (Waterways-Direct Online Shop) and 'Covers4Pools' (pond liners) sell it, as I suspect do several other companies.

    Hi Palustris.

    The stuff you need is called Gold Label. At £20 a tube, not cheap, but it seems to work.
