    I love these programmes and here is a 'this year' one for those who want to keep in touch.

    This coming Thursday ... 11:00am - A Place in the Sun: Home or Away: Torquay v Albufeira, Portugal Channel 4 HD

    Laura Hamilton helps Steve and Jackie Parkes, a couple with a budget of
    more than £1million, find a property in Torquay to house Jackie's
    elderly parents. Meanwhile, Jasmine Harman heads to Albufeira in the
    Algarve, Portugal, where she tries to spot a suitable holiday home for
    them.

    I am interested in watching this as it is within my 'catchment' ... ;) My doctor/dentist is in Albufeira and I live 20+ minutes north. We are certainly interested in what they can get for that kind of money in this climate ... :wow:

          I wasn't aware there were any 'palaces' for sale in the area ... :scratch: Maybe they will look at the house 15 minutes from me near Algoz that was for sale at 1,3 million now at a reduced 750,000€ .... (think I put the link up on Zig's thread) ...

                That's the one Zigs ... personally, it is not my scene ... I live in an old house (casa antiga) with 60cm walls, 5 meter ceilings and beams, the house surrounded by trees not barren ...
