    Hello

I have seen various adverts for companies that sell plants over the internet and they subsequently arrive in the post.

Has anyone successfully used these types of companies and which ones did you use?

I'm new here and I'm sure this question has probably been asked before....

    Crocus are good as well.

Beware of postage costs, which can be high. I only use online gardening shops if there is something I cannot find anywhere else. Most plants can be bought in a garden centre or nursery, for less than the price of the petrol to get there. And cheaper!

You can't beat picking out your own plants, which you don't have the option to do when online shopping.

I know they're not the cheapest but I've bought plants from Crocus when I couldn't get them from my normal wholesale nursery. They arrive promptly are packed well and, so far, have been very healthy and grown on well. Gardening Express gives a good service too, although I've not bought much from them. But as Aaron says, you can't beat chosing your own plants from, preferably a nursery, or a garden centre.

I've bought on line for special offers and when I couldn't find what I was looking for locally.
Thomson and Morgan and Parkers were both very good.
Years ago I bought acers and hedging plants from Barthelemys and they were excellent.
