Due to the proximity of a school to my allotment, we know school kids love to throw stones?

I've decided to erect my 2nd greenhouse next to the old one in my garden.

My old raised beds were on their last legs, so I've ripped them out to make room for the (used) new greenhouse and a nice plot for my early spuds.

The worms have done their job over the last 5 years and my clay soil is now "half decent"

I have a dilemma though........ What can I do with about 3 tonnes of surplus soil?

I have a few ideas, Allotment being most of them :)

It's a nice problem to have Vince. Moving 3 tonnes of soil will be a big job (assuming your allotment is not next door). Can't you spread it about in the rest of your garden?

Sods law? We had a delivery of fencing panels today, Heras type, to try and confine our Houdini puppy (<----- her brother) to the garden. On delivery, they offered me 13' scaffold boards @ £4 each, I only had £30 on me, so I bought 7 of them, Looks like raised beds will be making a come back! :) or :(
