It's always been a bit of an original but I've had it for a long time and always liked it, but discover that just lately it has gone rather more skewed and looks rather sickly. The browned bit usually faces the wall. Any ideas? Can it be saved?

No sniggering in the back row! And no, that's not pink wallpaper, poor phonecam snaps.

    Thanks

Is the brown bit soft and mushy?
If it is cut the green bit off at the top.

Check its not brown inside, if it is cut a bit more off till it looks white and healthy, it might be a bit far gone.
Then let it callus over for a week or so.

The brown could just be the stem turing woody if its still very firm.

        Hi Pete
Thanks for that. I have checked with feeling it though I'm not sure what they are supposed to feel like. I would say it feels generally a bit spongy all over but not mushy or wetish. Does that make sense?
I'm wondering if a change of scene might benefit it. It has been for the last year in a bright but west facing room. I could put it in a sunny south facing room. Should I try that? Or repot?

        Thanks
        GG

Do you know what species it is?
I got a feeling its not entirely happy:biggrin: and perhaps growing a bit out of character.

Its definitely struggling with not enough light I'd guess.

Yeah, it's not a happy camper at all. I've transferred it to a sunny room and hope for the best. But I do think I've let it get too advanced really, stupidly.

        Thanks
