Hi everyone, my calla lillies have finished flowering and are getting a bit droopy, the heads seem to have some sort of pods in them, should I cut them right back or will this affect them flowering next year? Also while I'm here, any ideas why my passion flower hasn't flowered?

    Thank you

Hi Rosie, regards to the Calla I don't really have much experience growing them but I would be inclined to let it die back naturally like you do with daffs etc...

Is your Passion Fruit a young plant? as they can take a few years before they flower, after spending the first couple of years putting on lots of growth and putting roots down. I once had one that didn't flower for 2 years, but put on a LOT of growth; in the 3rd year it had a handful of flowers but after that it was covered with them :thumb:

Just cut off the faded flowers and any leaves that are dying back. Keep them watered. Most callas are not hardy and need overwinter in a frost free place.
