Some time ago I posted I purchased 5 Zantedeschia Mixed Calla bulbs off ebay and they looked mouldy, in fact one was so mouldy it was rotted away. Anyway getting away from the point:) .Never even seen a calla bulb so in the pot they went, then purchased some canna bulbs and they also went into pot. As they started to grow it was obvious the 5 bulbs were not calla bulbs and now they have started to flower they turn out to be Tiger Lilies ,wow, never had those before either and the flowers are huge and smell lovely besides they are not a a one night wonder either. I think the seller sent me the wrong order which I am glad.
Got 2 light pink flowers and now a dark pink one is coming out but I think I have a problem.......!!!!
I thought I had lily beetles but on doing a search they seem to be bright red. Mine look black but are in fact dark green and about 2 mm long. I tried to take a photo but could not get close enough with my small camera. Still I have uploaded a photo so someone may recognize what sort of beetle it is. There are some small holes in leaves so I presume it is the beetle having their lunch.

Its NOT a Lily Beetle (which is a good thing as they destroy the foliage of Lilies - something to watch out for in future Springs)

Thanks for your replies.I decided rather than spray with insecticide I got a container of water and dipped a cotton bud in the water. The small beetles stick to the bud then either squish them or also in the water ready for the drain:runforhills:
