Camassia

    I have been given 3 pots each with Camassia plants in them (not sure what type). They are approx 2-3ft high, in flower. I want to plant them out but I am unsure as to what is best for them as regards to ground etc. Also when can these plants be divided

    They are American prairie bulbs. They do not seem to mind the soil as long as it is not too dry nor waterlogged. Cold does not harm them either. I dig up and move the bulbs when they are dormant in early Autumn.
