Hi there Gordon - question, does your camellia get the sun early in the morning. A common cause of a problem like this is early morning sun after a chilly night.

    Hi Gordon246

Most of my camellia buds dropped off too before they even opened up so I searched through the internet and I came across this page. Fortunately my camelia has not affected by any kind of disease. They were damaged by the frost and now they have recovered. It sounds like your camelia is infected by Camellia Flower Blight!

Its not the heat - its the frost followed by sun first thing. But don't sound as it that is the problem and it maybe that Bubbly has found the answer.
