    Bought some Camelia plants yesterday from Aldi’s about 15” high and bushy in bud red white and pink absolute bargain £4-59 each

      I saw those recently and they looked quite decent plants.
      One thing to bear in mind is that they will have been raised in a polytunnel or glasshouse. So keep them out of cold winds, say somewhere against the housewall or a cold porch.
      If I'd bought any they would have gone in the greenhouse and come out on a mild calm days until they had hardened off a bit.

        I must admit I haven’t considered that Nigel, I will take your advice and give them some protection for a while
