Hi I have a camellia that is 6 foot and in a pot it has looked fantastic for years.

This year i removed the fleece thinking we had had the last of the frost and the next day we had very bad frost and all of the buds and leaves have gone brown.

It looks very sick and i do not know what to do?
should I remove the leaves or just leave it till next year? :(

So sad, I remember a few years back when a late frost scorched a lorra of the new growth in my garden - seemed to take ages to recover, but recover it did. So just leave it for now to revover if it will. Move the pot if you can into a sheltered position, away from early morning sun, and keep your fingers crossed. Camelias are usually hardy, so it should recover given a bit of time especially if it is a well established plant. Mine never got protected and only succumbed when wet snow split the stem.
