I brought this plant 2 years ago, fully labelled but as I've stated I throw the tags away [IMG] but it wasn't a Camellia when we brought it as the garden centre said it wasn't one.

A friend of ours saw it last year in bud in the garden as it was removed from the pot and he swears it is one but because I no longer have the label this plants open to opinions.

The buds develop in September but it never flowers till late April in to May...it as the buds on it now and are still strong after the snow.:)

    This is the plant

This is what the flowers look like but in pure white?

@pete, Our friend even brought a photo on his phone as he as a couple of large red ones and they looked the same...I do admit to cutting the tags off as I find they look untidy :)
