Camellia!..the leaves are turning brown.

    I think they are the new leaves which start off a bronze colour before turning green, maybe you had no flowers because the plant was too dry last year, is it in a pot or in the ground?

    Camelias must have lots of water in the Autumn to make buds and bloom early in the year.

    Thankyou Nat75 and Joyce42,it was in the ground last year but the area was quite damp as the fence next door kept the sun off the plant.
    I have put it into a pot now and see how it goes..the rootball was very wet when we lifted it yesterday,so I've moved it into the sun after potting and fingers crossed it will survive.
