Does anyone have any unusual varieties of the Campanula plants?

Been looking online without luck! I'd love it if anyone had any cuttings they could send me, I'd even pay postage!

Thanks :blue thumb: (I know how easy they are to divide in big chunks, but not sure how small cuttings/divides do)

I don't have any unusual varieties I'm afraid, only Campanula portenshlagiana which you see growing out of walls everywhere.

I've been looking into buying some white varieties.

I've got 3 different types currently, all purple.

One's from my grandad's garden after he died, I've divided it about 5 times thus far and it's probably my best growing plant in the garden!

        Simbad kindly sent me C.thyrsoides.
I would certainly recommend C.glomerata "Alba"...................

Not tall and very well behaved (ie; not invasive).

I have some Campanula seeds (not sure which type) but I've never really tried.

How successful has anyone been growing from seed?

I have grown Salvia patens "Cambridge Blue" and "Oxford Blue" from seed. They are easy in early March,

            Thank you, Jenny!

Looking into the Campanulaceae family now, some amazing plants but I can't seem to find most of them online in either plant form or seed.

I've got plenty in my garden that I grew from seed. Varieties are more limited, and it takes a bit longer to get a mature clump, than buying a plant in a decent sized container ... but other than that I've found it a cheap way of growing plants.
