    1. ..Helichrysum
    2.. Ptimula denticulata
    3.. Sedum..
    4..Day lilies
    5. Scilla..? not sure
    6... Helichrysum again..

    5 is Chionodoxa lucillae (now moved to Scilla though so Marley was not far off!).

    Good start there Marley, reckon you got most of them. 1 and 6 are the perennial cornflower .
    dunno about the Ptimula though.:)

    1 I think is either Centaurea montanum or if a shrub then whatever Marley said.
    The Sedum is Sedum album, but there are dozens of named forms of it so which one I do not know.

    I would say Marley is correct other than the typing error which is primula not ptimula easy typing mistake. Definitely Denticulata by the looks of it and certain 1 and 6 are the same. And I would go with Chinadoxia which I believe to be part of the Scilla family.

    and thank you so much these answers too. I hope I am able to help people out with my own plant knowledge in the future. I guess it takes years of experience but gotta start somewhere!

    Not years, just interest. You will be pleasantly surprised at how quickly you pick up on names of plants etc. when you are interested in them.
