Can Anyone Identify these plants?

    I have these in my garden - what are they? And how do i trim them as they are huuuge!

    The first one is lavatera, and wait until it has flowered, and you can be as harsh as you need to be, and can take it back to older wood. I would reduce it by at least half.

    The second one I haven't got a clue, but again, I would wait until it has flowered, and then I would prune it back to a nice shape.

    Sorry to hijack your thread Lunagirl but I'd rather use an existing thread than create a new one!

    This is growing in my mates garden, and I love it. Any idea what it's called?

    Lunagirl, I agree with Plant1star with the lavatera, butI don't know what your second one is, can't really see it well enough.

    Archdoodler, yours is Lychnis Coronaria, great plant and dead easy from seed so start collecting them anytime from now.

    Lunagirl - I would agree with Lavateria, and your second one I think is Laurentia.

    Archdoodler - that looks like Lychnis coronaria - a long flowering, biennial or short lived perennial.
