Can anyone identify these?

    Hi there can anyone help me identify these, saw then while out walking today and love the shapes and colour and want them in my garden.

    Hi Paul ...

    I don't know the first but the second is Agapanthus (African Lily). I have the dark blue variety .... a fantastic and beautiful plant.

    The first one looks like my Artichoke!!!, And I have a blue Agapanthas, Both Fab plants...

    1. cardoon or artichoke (I can never get my head around the difference)
    2. Agapanthus - saw some lovely ones at Hampton Court

    Yep, first one is a Globe Artichoke, second is Agapanthus.:thumb:

    I though no 1 was a cardooooon, but I wouldn't despute it being a globe artichoke.

    If you lived closer Paul, I could give you some young Agapanthus in bud!!
