Can I fit in some beans

    I have two rows of peas kelvedon wonder spaced (30") between rows which looks quite a big spacing I have it covered in netting so I was wondering could I fit in a row of dwarf French beans up the middle ? The peas are about 3 inches high at moment. It just seems a lot of pen going to waste.
    I have just cut some hazel twigs to support the peas which I will sorting over the weekend

    My Kelvedon Wonder are much closer than that - probably 6" apart, so I will be interested to see the answers to this thread :blue thumb:

    Hiya.

    I believe K/Wonder grow to around 4ft? In terms of space, I would guess that you have enough room for a row, as you suggest. My only concern would be that there might not be enough light. Having said that, I grew some in a shaded area in the garden last year, and got a good crop. Give it a go:blue thumb:
