Can I mow the lawn?

    I know you're not meant to at this time of year, but mine is still growing and now its getting annoyingly long.

    if its dry (soil) enough, otherwise if like mine you will make a right old mess , I done my last cut in November and its hardly grown since.

    When the last time you cut it ?

    In recent years I've been doing the last cut in early Dec and the first cut in mid Jan. There's no problem doing it if the ground isn't too soggy but you definitely shouldn't do it if it's frosty. You shouldn't even walk on frosted grass unless you really have to. Once the sun has melted the frost, and dried the grass a little bit, it will be OK.

      I'll give it a trim then with the blades set at their highest setting.
