Can i plant Anemones???

    Hi everyone

    I have been given around 50 Anemones
    Can i plant them now?
    Are there any special requirement 4 them?

    Hi Mowgley.If they are Anemone Blanda or Anemone De Cann? You need to soak them overnight in water before planting them.Can't remember how deep so check your books.They are knarled and nobbly,and it is difficult to see the top from the bottom.We just dug a hole and popped them in and they flower every year

    Think they are Anemones Blanda.
    Will they flower in the summe rif i plant in the spring?

    Yes - should do. If you are in doubt about top and bottom, plant them on their side. Nature will sort things out.

    soaked them last night on will plant tomorrow. Have a day off work (hope the weathers ok) :D
