Can I re-pot deeper

    Hi all my cucumbers need potting up now and my bell and chilly peppers in a week or so can I pot them up deeper like toms to get a better plant

    I vote for "yes you can" - I reguarly plant mine deeper when I pot them on, removing any low leaves as required.

        I've never planted pepper deeper, but I always top dressed cues when the stem starts to grow those white knobbly bits around the base.

        Ive been wondering the same. My pickling cucumbers look like they could do with being planted a bit deeper.

          I always try and keep the soil level low when sowing squash/etc. seeds, so when they sprout I can top up with MPC to support the plants.
