    personally i have no idea but i think close ups of flowers and leaves will help with identification if you have any

    From the pic it looks to me like a Midland hawthorn - Crataegus laevigata 'Paul's Scarlet'

      Looks like a red flowered variety of Hawthorn to me but as above a pic of blooms required.

        Thanks for your responses, having looked up hawthorn trees, I am sure that this is what it is. I take on board better photos required next time. Cheers

        Midland Hawthorn has 2 or 3 styles in the flower :)
