Can someone identify this tree.

    This gorgeous tree is in a neighbour's garden. They are not gardeners and it was obviously there when they recently moved in. The photo was taken yesterday so you see it as it is now. Can someone identify it, please?

    Could do with a better picture Jocko but I think its a Berberis Darwinii

      Now I am able to look it up I must agree with you. I went out with a long lens in a gale but the bits that are in focus, and still, look like Berberis darwinii. Tree.jpg
