Or garden time deprivation induced insanity?

Between winter, the storms, and a lurgy that has lasted more than 2 months, I've not done anything in the garden this year yet (ok, I've planted 6 plants in ground I've had ready since last year). Now, on a friday night, still slightly lurgied but well on the mend, I want to go out and crack on with it.

Yes, I think we are all itching to get stuck in now. It's been so mild and everything is "springing" so we all want to get to with it all.
Glad you are feeling better. :)

Clueless if you have had lurgy that long you really need to talk to a doc, there could be an under lying cause :dunno: x

Been, loads of times. Had blood tests and snot tests and been on a heart monitor thingy and everything. Nothing worrying was detected. In fact, nothing at all was detected. My heart is spot on, my blood was text book perfect. I had a chest infection at the start of said lurgy, which cleared up with antibiotics, and the doctor suspects the ongoing lurgy that followed was just caused by irritation to the lining of my lungs caused by damage done by the infection, plus mucus membrane thingies inside my lungs that are still in full production mode in response to earlier chest infection. So its just a matter of waiting for all that to heal up, which thankfully finally seems to be happening.

Personally, I blame the fire that broke out over christmas, which the PR people are working over time to reassure us all about, but just a couple of miles from me, in the local works, a massive fire broke out and raged for about 3 weeks solid. Some days you actually smell and taste the smoke even indoors, and outside it was just a permanent haze some days. The authorities even had to close a few local roads because visibility on them was practically zero. Strangely, and purely coincidental, lots of people in the immediate area came down with really bad chest lurgy all at the same time, which people that I work with, who live outside of the smoke range, were all fine.

I did get a second opinion. In fact I switched GP surgeries after my encounter with the first one. The new one wasted no time and was very thorough.

I think the term is Cabin Fever , stuck inside all winter we need to get out.
Just cleaning the patio today, should be dry enough to give the lawns a quick flick tomorrow :dbgrtmb:

I've had it bad. Should be mild in Cardiff today 14. So taking my sick bowl out and directing the troops in a tidy up. Not that they need much direction!
