This afternoon I have been given these two plants, any idea what they could be?
The only clue is they were told the name was something like 'chin chin'.
    Cheers.

I was not sure if mine are thirsoides or not. All that I know is that I had one from a friend, and it reproduces like a crazed rabbit, so I have tons of it now, lol.

Gaz, I understand they are from South Africa and not hardy, but they are stunning. I remember many years ago when I was a kid, an aunt in South Africa sent us some as cut flowers and they lasted for months in water.

The image above which in your post linked to the website"Smiley Central" is full of something called "spyware"

"Spyware is computer software that is installed surreptitiously on a personal computer to intercept or take partial control over the user's interaction with the computer, without the user's informed consent."
    - Wikipedia.com

To put it simply spyware is a type of virus which secretly records anything from bank details to email passwords or telephone numbers:( although I believe that Smiley Central is far less dangerous and just displays toolbars full of adverts and other annoying pop-ups...

    http://gladiator-antivirus.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=14639

If you would like to make sure that you haven't been infected i would suggest removing any of the toolbars or programs that i presume you downloaded from smiley central and then installing something to remove any left over spyware (I'm not sure what the best free program is for this but I'm sure someone else can help you with that:thumb:)
