Hi @Mr_slinky_dragon , I have just returned from a week in South Devon.

A warm welcome to Gardener's Corner. That's a very fine selection of Sonchus that you have. How did you get into them? Are they from seed? and are they established plants?

My own experience of them is limited. A friend sent me some seed of S. congestus and S. arvensis. They started off looking quite different. The arvensis formed a big rosette, however it fell by the wayside, and I am just left with a congestus, shown above. It got hit by RSM over the winter of 2015, when it was inside, but recovered well and spent the following summer outside. Its now about five feet high.

I brought mine from rareplants.es and are from seed (i have loads! which im trying to sell on ebay/word of mouth) ive seen congestus (and a few others) in tenerife. i just love these plants! dont know why but i do!

ive had congestus in the past (from blackhalls) but got a major case of botrytis and lost alot of plants (most of my succulent euphorbias and aloes)

heres a few of the ones im keeping:
