I know someone who has, I saw it for the first time last week.

But, and its only my opinion,
I couldn't see anything particually great about the plant.

Maybe it was a poor specimen, but I dont think so, knowing the person concerned.
I think other cannas are much more interesting.:)

Funny, from the books I had the impression of a very stately plant. My idea was that it could replace bananas in my tiny future exotic corner, being easier to overwinter. It is all in the realm of possibility of course. I don't think it will bloom here, but it really would not matter to me. Well if you friend decides to get rid of his.... :D

    Hi Ivory. :)

To be honest I don't know one Canna from the next except for colour .... sad, isn't it?

I do have five different coloured ones .... they are not good here identifying things but are getting better. If you would just like some seeds,. I have a couple that do seed, a peach coloured one and a rose coloured one. I also have a yellow one and a red one 'Cardinal' I think, and one that is called 'Lucifer' but I'm not sure if these seed ... but I could always send a bit of the tubers to you in the Autumn.
