    while on the subject of links check out http://www.dpreview.com/ sign up for the forums then choose the canon model similar to yours. You will find a world of information sample photos lens choices etc to suit your exact model and advice from others on how to improve / choose equipment etc.

    Thanks Dave I have a Canon eos 400d and that site is very useful as my camera is a wee bit over my head.

    That's a super camera kenco - I was playing with one a friend brought round just yesterday.
    I've not got a DSLR myself but have aspirations!

    Yes dave that camera was a very special present from the wife. Its a lot of money but the quality of picture is outstanding. I will post some pictures taken in my polytunnel when i get the hang of using this site.
