I get some wonderful second hand clothes.Of course Mrs S. says she would rather have new but I point out that we can only afford new for one of us if we are to pay cash for the martini since the offie cut off our credit.:D

David, do you think I am a monster? She lives in the house of course, at least during the day. As there is still a danger of night frost she sleeps in the brand new sleeping bag I got her, outside the g.house. I did turn the thermometer round though so she can see it from the outside without having to keep opening the door. She only needs to open up if she needs to put the heating on. I am a very considerate husband.

David & John - what a double act. Thanks for making me laugh.

slinky - don't like car booties any more, too many 'professionals' there. What do you look for?

    cheers

I look for plants, of course, although I may be tempted by other things, like t-shirts for 50p or books, garden ornaments etc. I have had some great garden stuff from boot sales, including a rusty iron obilisk, stone urns, trowels and gardening gloves (you can never have too many trowels and gardening gloves in my experience). I just love them.

Well, we went to a booty yesterday and I got myself some 'Linbins' (the platic storage bins you get in engineering companies for small to large parts etc) , I was willing to order some online at £50 for 10 ..... I got some second hand (obviously) for £5 for 8 :D and 6 larger bins, again, £5 .... BARGAIN.

6 cartons of branded fruit juice which is all still in date £2, I get drinks from the same chap every week.

    I also bought 3 DVD's for £5.

Today (we were not going to go, but we did), I got myself a gas lance on a gas bottle (with gas as well :) ) with a regulator, and gave the chap £13 for it ..... And this afternoon, I got out and put another layer of felt on my shed roof, and just need to put the final layer on now.

The only things to watch Nathan are the DVDs They are possibly pirated, even if they look genuine, and so not only illegal, but lousy quality as well.
