Black to Black but don't use it on the steering wheel and gear lever etc as it is very slippery

At the moment I use Carplan cockpit cleaner , get the non shiney type - unless you like shiney vinyl . Mr Sheen does just as well.
I have only ever used Back to Black on the exterior black bits , works really well :dbgrtmb: Never used it in the interior.
Now a really good upholstery cleaner is my next want . Molly our Cocker has made the pale grey back seat of the car virtually black !:doggieshmooze: I don't think the foam spray cleaners you get are up to the job . I have always rated Vanish products do they do an upholstery cleaner ?

This may sound silly, but I always keep baby wipes in the car for 'emergencies' on the interior ... or exterior... (packed full of gentle cleansing properties and lanolin or such like ) ...

"Simoniz Back To Black Trim Protector is the quick and easy way to produce a protective gloss finish on all interior and exterior trim. The formula cleans and instantly returns a ‘new look’ to all interior and exterior surfaces. Use it on plastic, rubber and vinyl surfaces such as bumpers, dashboards, trim, rubber hoses and vinyl tops to restore an original look and gloss."

                  From there info on amazon

No, it can be used on dashboards and trim inside and out and i've used it on all colours of dashboards

What does this word 'clean', mean? Is it that thing that people do before they sell their car?

I've always wondered why they use such terrible fabrics for cars. The carpets are like Velcro, they pick up every speck of dirt and grip it in their horrid nylony pile. The upholstery on every car I've had forms a stain even from a little bit of water. So if clothes are damp from rain or you leave a cold carton of milk on the seat on a hot day it looks like someone has an incontinence problem.
If Vanish could sort this out I'd be delighted.
