Hi all! On Saturday we bought a gorgeous tree pansy. Beautiful vibrant purple-red leaves. We planted it between some green bamboo that we have just managed to rip out of the ground and replant in pots. What a nightmare job that was! It looks really effective though next to the bamboo.

Some of the leaves on the tree have some bug damage, i.e. they've been eaten (I assume that anyhow as they have holes in and look half eaten). So my question is, can I spray a simple bug spray on the leaves to prevent this? Thanks! :thmb:

I thought I'd amend to catch some attention. Don't think I put the correct name before!

Ok I will try and help but what is a Tree Pansy?:cnfs::hehe:

Could you mean the purple leaved cultivar of the Judas Tree? (Cercis canadensis 'Forest Pansy')

    or maybe a Tree Peony?

as doing a Google search tree pansy I'm afraid reveals nothing :o
