Carol Klein and Hay Festival

Lunchtime today I went to see Carol Klein talking about her book 'Life in a Cottage Garden'.

See was lovely, much as I imagined her and as enthusiastic as ever.

This evening I went along and listened to Anna Pavord, another great speaker.

Tomorrow it's a talk by Stephen Anderson on Christopher Lloyd and his Life at Great Dixter, and Friday it's Monty Don on Great Gardens of Italy.

It's been a brilliant week but my poor garden has been neglected, hopefully it won't have suffered too badly and all will be back to normal next week.
