Carrot amsterdamn

    Ok i have planted amsterdamn seeds about 8 weeks ago and this is what has come up. I must of had to many seeds together in one place....am i supposed to move them or what? any ideas lol im so new to all this thanks....check the pictures.

    Hello ashlee, I'm afraid carrots should really be in a row and sown a bit more thinly than that (as Armandii explained on your other thread). The reason for planting on a row is so that you can see which are carrots and which are weeds, to make it easier.

    Carrots don't like being pulled up and transplanted so theres not a lot you can do now except sow another batch. One thing is good though, your carrot seedlings are growing strongly and I'm sure your next batch will do the same.

      Thanks I transplated a few today with a wooden lolly stick lets hope they still grow and i also planted some autumn king carrot seeds in rows this time only 2-3 seeds to each hole hopefully this is better
