Carrots Growing

    Hello

    I am growing carrots in containers, I am wondering do i need to keep topping the container up with soil, like i do with potatoes

    No, carrots do their own thing and dislike being earthed up.

      A bit of a top up when the shoulders of the carrots push above the soil, to stop them going green, do you think John? But not "heap-it-on" like spuds I agree.

      Home Grown Veg is the man you need for "Carrots in a Bucket"

      He has a style not to everyone's taste, perhaps, but he has 84K subscribers, his videos get 2-3,000 views within a week ... and pretty much all he does is "Grow Carrots / Spuds in a bucket". He has definitely perfected the art of "bottling" that particular product :)

      Blinking YouTube has taken away the option to "Sort by most popular", otherwise I could easily find his best-est video ... repeating myself, but "there are loads to choose from" :)

      Actually, as best as I can determine it, that is his only million-viewer. Hopefully best-of-the-crop <sorry about that one!>
